This was the evening book club selection. I had already seen the movie. The book was extremely factual. I learned a lot about racism and the criminal justice system. I recommend it.

A nice combination of fiction & fantasy for an enjoyable read.

I always enjoy Jane Green's books and this book is no exception.

A sweet middle-grade story about a young girl named Hanna who is half-Chinese & half-white. Hanna lives in Dakota Territory in the 1880s -- and she is the only person of Chinese heritage there. She is a wonderful seamstress and dressmaker, and channels the negative energy she receives from prejudiced people around her into making beautiful dresses.

Perfect light reading during this crazy time.
